I am trying to set my screen mode (Amiga 1200 running on HDD) to PAL:High Res Laced. Everytime I press USE I get this:

Error accessing file ENV:Sys/screenmode.prefs, object not found

I looked for this file on the Workbench 3.1 floppy so I could copy it back in case I deleted it by mistake, but it is not there either.

:help:

slowly :) Do You need a file "screenmode.prefs" from 3.1 workbench ?
if yes give me You e-mail

You should be able to copy it from
Code:
Sys:prefs/Env-Archive/Sys/screenmode.prefs
or possibly
Code:
Sys:S/Env-Archive/Sys/screenmode.prefs

Thanks for your replies! I found what the problem was. I had put TinyLauncher in the startup-sequence, so my A1200 boots directly to that, and when I hit escape key, it would continue to Workbench. With this disabled, the Screenmode prefs problem is gone.
