I just had to Post this

That's amazing! I've got a friend who's hoping to turn a couple of older classic Macs into coffee tables, I wonder if they do different kits?

It's a shame those iMacs are so darned ugly :P

Don't get me wrong, but Apple has made some very odd design choices over the years (people on acid?)
While I do enjoy the various PPC machines they shuffled out of their magic factories and such, I couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed having people over and seeing those machines with odd designs back in my younger days :P

Take for instance the clamshell iBook... what on earth?
Or as we call it... "dasslocket" (toilet seat)

Anyhow... yeah, a good idea though, those kits :)

Top Gear have their engine table:

And we have out vintage computer table.. It's like it should be, isn't it? :lol:

@LOOM:

I so WANT the engine block table!!! :thumbsup:

A long time ago, I had 2 Sun Enterprise 450 servers. These are pretty large systems with wheels on them. I used to have one rolled over next to my desk and I would use it to eat lunch on.

These things would have made great end tables in my living room. I should have gotten some cut glass with little rubber pads and then applied for a patent, ugh, another lost opportunity! :Doh:

pah my old p3 server did sterling service as a coffee table come hair dryer for ages, but got sick of stubbing me toes on its unforgiving corners
