Selling my IBM 8530. It's a late 8086 model (hence the white power switch), probably manufactured around 1989.

It's in great condition, very clean. Dust and smell-free (from a non-smoking environment).

8086 8Mhz CPU
640kb RAM
Onboard MCGA
Seagate ST-125N Hard Drive
Original 720kb FDD

The hard drive has a few bad sectors according to Scandisk but is still fully functional, the floppy drive formats, reads and writes disks correctly. The computer boots to a DOS prompt and runs programs and games.

Here are two videos I just made to demonstrate the machine in operation:

The photos show the cover without the screws as I removed it to photograph the interior of the computer - I do have the original screws but one is missing.

Disclaimer: even though the machine has been well looked-after and is functional, there is always the possibility of some component failure at some stage given that it's more than 35 years old, so I can't offer any guarantee.

For sale 180 160 150 145 140 euros excluding shipping fees (payment by paypal F&F). Will ship to the EU only (the computer will be well protected for shipping).

Edit: Price lowered
