OK, enough of that...
...is someone out here in Amiga land who can take the ReAmiga 1200 Rev 1.5 design and reshape the board to fit Amiga 1000s? Entire board logic would remain unchanged, just reshape to line up as a drop in, centre support hole and all. For simplicity of execution, S-Video output in place of 1000's TV and for the keyboard connector needing to be addressed to reuse A1000 keyboards and the A1200 power connector can be positioned internally on the board to use a slim Amiga 1200 power supply internally connected inside the case perhaps, since A1000 power supplies doesn't have -12V.
I'm in for at least 2 such boards when we'd go to order. I'm certain there would be many others who would want this path to give a new life to their beloved Amiga 1000s ahead of the July 23rd, 2025 40th Anniversary. Anyone know what the quantity batch requirement is for such boards to be made?
Amiga 1000s that are out there should get this gift for their 40th birthday. I wish I had the skills to do this myself! (Or the ReAmiga files.)
EDIT: I'm getting repetitive and boring with this one, aren't I?
(Especially since I already put a 1200 in a 1000. But it would be nice for others to have an easier path to it.)
