I was just posting this as an interest thread. How many people like myself would be interested in an angled CF adapter like the one in the picture below to fit properly with an indivision on an A1200? Please reply here so that we can show the genteman who made them that there is still demand for more of these and hopefully he will make some more....

IIRC, Mika Leilonen (mrmkl on Amiga.org) made those babies for 30 EURO. Maybe less.

The picture shows the adapter inside an A600. I haven't actually tried in any other configuration.
It would take a few weeks to complete (order PCBs, soldering)
Price maybe 15 euros for one piece (????)

@ mkl

Have you considered using a pass through 44 way IDC header so you could still plug a hard Drive, or another CF card in as well?

I think most would use it with a CF Card or Microdrive....At least thats what I want them for...

The board could have a pass-through pin-header on the top side.
Type 2 cf-connectors are not as common as those for the thinner type 1 cards. Thus it will cost a little more, if cheap source (such as ebay sellers) is not found.

@ mkl

Surely for the small increase in cost, it would be worth doing to get the most out of the header & the Amiga. (y)

Mika are you thinking of doing a run then? If so I'd like to reserve 3 of them... Should we pay in advance or wait for production?

Another alternative is to order a angled 2.5" CF-adapter for 3 dollars on ebay, it wont fit over the Indivision but if you order two clock-port extender from Amigakit (about 8 euro) and mount the CF-adapter on the clock-port extenders then it will fit.

Price will be a little bit cheaper than this one, but I agree this is a nice enginered CF-adapter.

Cant believe Alexh have not mentioned it yet, he seems to know every Amiga-bargain there is :-D

A flatcable to where the CF card is is even cheaper! :) I prefer to have my CF card sticking out through a slot in the case, I don't like opening my Amiga just to add some files.

But looks like it's a good solution for those with Indivision who want an internal harddisk, ofc.

It is an excellent solution for people who (will) have the LordV's A608, too.;)

I would, but only if I could access it externally.

So ideally I would want it to lead to the side of the case or just over PCMCIA expansion port!

So something like that, but not that exactly.
