Greetings. I'm in the process of rebuilding a 486 system from my childhood. It is almost done, and all I need is to acquire the CRT monitor that it had. The brand of it was Eye-Q.

Now, here's the problem: I do not know what model of Eye-Q monitor it was, nor do I have a photo to show of the monitor. All of this information has unfortunately been lost to the sands of time. Therefore, I am trying to see if I can figure out what model this monitor was with the hopes of possibly being able to find one in the future to finish this rebuild.

Here is what I do remember of this monitor:

-Monitor was from circa 1995, perhaps a year or two earlier (My family received this computer in 1995)
-Size was about 15 inches
-I believe it supported 1024x768 resolution, but I cannot be 100% certain
-It had all-digital controls for the picture adjustment under a flip-down panel on the front bezel, although brightness and contrast may have been separate analog dials, I don't recall for sure
-The digital controls were all round membrane-type buttons
-The power switch was a push-button type to the right of the digital controls
-It did not have an on-screen display or menu of any kind
-The "Eye-Q" logo was silkscreened in either the lower left or upper right corner of the bezel, I do not recall which
-An EnergyStar sticker was applied in the diagonally-opposite corner of the bezel from the Eye-Q logo
-In addition to a standard VGA connector, it also MIGHT have had a row of BNC connectors on the back (I cannot recall with certainty)

Thinking back, I get the impression that it was a rather high-end monitor for its day. As far as I can tell, Eye-Q is a German brand, but the fact that it had an EnergyStar sticker on it and was rated for 120V suggests that this model was certified for sale in the US and wasn't a one-off import that somehow found its way to us.

My oldest brother is the one who gave us the computer. As he recalls, he mail-ordered the computer from a company in California that might have been called "DreamTech Computer Corp", but he's not 100% sure about that company name (It makes sense though, because the computer had a case badge that said "Dream 486" on it). So, the monitor could have been available for sale in California. Another possibility is that he purchased the monitor locally after receiving the computer, in which case it would have been bought in the Ames, Iowa (Midwest) area. Perhaps knowing which regions the monitor was potentially sold it might help find people who could possibly identify it.

If anyone has any potentially-helpful information or even pictures that could identify the model of this monitor, please let me know. I am currently unable to actually purchase one, but I do plan on doing so in the future provided I can figure out what model it is to properly search or request one.

Thank you!

Greetings. I am still hoping that we can identify the model of this monitor, and eventually find one of these monitors for me to purchase.
