Just seen these on eBay:

(Buy-it-now, $99)

It's a full Quadra 950 on a Nubus card. Never seen this before, but I bet they cost a small fortune when they were new. Might be a cool toy for any of you classic Mac enthusiasts out there. (Or maybe an Amigan who wants to desolder the 40MHz 68040 part for re-use) ;-)

Too expensive as a 040-only source. But really interesting for Mac Quadra fans.

At one point I was an avid BYTE reader and really fancied one of these specifically, I think it was a story on 'the making of Myst' and I really thought 'ooh, I'd like to poke around those good looking menus and render 3D in no time' or something, hehehe. Oh, and an "Indigo". I was into drawing comics at the time and had no computer at all for a few years, so neither happened.

I've an original Mac with working diskettes, printer and one of those video cameras for capturing grainy bitmap images, as far as Macs go I feel quite fortunate and content with that.

Oh, and I drooled over the first color Macbooks, the ones with the trackballs at one point, too.
