I downloaded this last night onto my Windows 7 setup and at the moment, I am quietly impressed. It feels a lot quicker and more responsive than IE8 or IE9 was, although the graphics seem to have a somewhat 'flat' feel to them, maybe because it's optimised for tablets and touch screens.

If anyone else has tried it, I'd welcome your opinions, good or bad.

almost as fast as chrome, but still by far least standard compliant browser of the bunch.

It's very close to both chrome and ff now, but when it's combined with Windows 8, things start to break.

Explorer is just useful for downloading Firefox or Chrome when the system is new.

As I have heard before -

Explorer is the best browser to download another browser!

Sadly I have to so I can test sites. Never use IE on a daily basis though.

Just to give some feedback for future reference.

I'm using IE10 now after the latest windows update and noticed some issues using Amibay and IE10 tracking protection switched on.

1. When I double-click on one of the coloured buttons to mark all forum messages as 'Read' it navigates to that particular sub forum.

2. The default font in 'Reply' dialogue boxes is Times New Roman and I'm unable to select a different font. I'm also unable to select smilies.

3. When I try to submit a post to a thread I get a message that my post is too short and I need to enter 3 more characters. If I enter 3 or more characters and resubmit, I get the same message.

If I then disable tracking protection, Amibay works as expected.

Apparenly not a good feature then, given it blocks regular use.
