Hi everybody, I am EagleRacing.

Proud owner of the following amiga's.
A500, A1200, A2000, A4000 and CD32.
Recently plugged them in again ans most of them are in working order.
They all will be recapped as soon as I find some time to solder in the new caps.
Have to replace a couple of resistors on the A4000 mainboard to, probably, solve a discoloration i get through the video slot.
Replaced the batteries on all amiga's years ago with a 3v CR2032 battery and a diode.

I am looking forward to fabricate my own casing for a GOTEK drive to go into my A4000 and A2000.
Also looking forward to buy or make a terrible fire TF534s accellerator for the A500 or maybe even 2 so the A2000 can benefit from the extra speed as and cheap HDD option as well.

I grew up wit an A500 my parrents got back when it was released.
The A1200 was my first own computer. Later got the oppurtunity to buy an A4000 which I upgraded with an GVP T-Rex 040/40 with 8MB of ram. And the RAM is probably the reason the A4000 does not want to boot.

Your A4000 Gotek fitting sounds interesting, all the ones I have seen are always the wrong colour

Let us know how building your Gotek case for the 2000 goes, I am interested. I have been looking for one that would match the dimensions of the 2000's floppy bay and allow mounting on the floppy drives plate without standoff screws, but to no avail yet. If you can get it in the right colour scheme, it's even better
