Dear Community,

a friend of mine started playing SWOS. He's used to XBox 360 Controllers. My question is if there is any adapter existing, which you can use to play with Xbox 360 Controller on Amiga or if it's technically possible to build one.

Any help would be great.

Cheers
Jon

the XBox and XBox360 game pads are USB controllers - as such you will need a USB to DeB9... converter....

it would be easier to use a PSx controller and converter as these devices already exist, I have built a DeB9 joystick port to USB - the hardware isn't difficult - however not impossible.

hmmm... interstingly the XBox controll pad is also a USB hub as well... but all the features such lights / rumble use more power than the amiga can output - because of that you are limited to 50ma on any Amiga you use.

I am sure I have seen some projects about for USB to DeB9... I shall have a lookie about to see what I can rustle up =)
