I am happy to say that yesterday I bought my first Amiga!
1200 with a 4GB CF card/drive. I am in Canada but this came from the UK. Trouble is that the mouse was duff so I had to order a mouse and its killing me to not use this baby until that arrives.
I remember back in the day my company sponsored a deal where they would subsidize purchase of a new computer for employees, the choices were IBM compatible (likely an XT in that timeframe) or an Amiga 2000.
Well I went with the IBM since I was looking to pursue an IT career and knowledge of that was mandatory but remember being amused at the Amiga vs Atari ST message threads on the BBS's at the time (My computer's better than yours - type of thing)
Anyway, hope to be more of a regular around here, learn some things, and contribute as I can.
Any other Ontarians here?

Congratulations! I first got into the Amiga after reading about it in 2000, and I haven't regretted it since.

While you're waiting for your mouse, you can use the keyboard instead - Left Amiga + the arrow keys moves the pointer, and Left Amiga + the left or right Alt keys mimics the left or right buttons. It's not pretty, but it works in a pinch.
