I was recently gifted a Rev. 5 A500 from a friend who had it stored away for years without using it. I've been slowly accumulating parts to get it working and am excited that I found this forum which seems to have all kinds of cool things available.
This will be my first exposure to the Amiga since using one at a friend's house back in the 80s and am looking forward to learning a new computer platform. This community seems very tight knit an welcoming so I am looking forward to being part of the group! If anyone has any links to a basic how-to of how to navigate Workbench and generally use an Amiga it would be very much appreciated. I'm a very experienced computer user, but the Amiga is like starting from scratch for me which is super exciting.
