Hi, I am interested in the "Creative 3D Blaster II CT6670 8MB PCI", but does this require the cable - and if so, does it come with it? It's been aaaaages since I last used a voodoo card, and I recall on some models that you need to have the monitor going into one port of the voodoo card, and then a cable going from the voodoo to the vga port.

Pm'd interest in Voodoo 3 2000 pci

Thanks Joe, just sent payment for this :)
Wonderful, thank you!

Yes, these cards need a standard VGA Female to Male pass through cable to send your 2D display's output through the Voodoo card to your monitor. I have some basic short cables available that work for these. There are some older odd-ball Voodoo Graphics (Voodoo 1) cards that used proprietary cables, but these do not. Generally, 2D (desktop) image clarity will be reduced a bit due to passing through the 3D card, but at lower resolutions it isn't that bad. If you're interested in the card I will test it with one of my cables and let you know how it looks. Either way, I'll throw one in for you at no additional cost. Alternatively, you can use a monitor with two inputs or a VGA switch to switch between your 2D and 3D cards without losing 2D clarity. They don't absolutely need to be connected together, it just makes it simpler, since the Voodoo will do the switching automatically. Please PM me if interested, as the forum doesn't seem to be notifying me of replies still. Very strange...

Thanks for the info, and PM on the way!

Finally managed to rescue the card from the delivery company. All looks good thanks :)

Running out of cards but I have added two more to the original post. Two Voodoo 3 1000 16MB AGP OEM cards. :)

Letting go of another Voodoo 3 2000 PCI card with 5.5ns SGRAM. It has been added to the OP. :)
