Hello!

yesterday I tested a couple of LC 060 cpus I had - both rev4
they work fine but both SysInfo and WhichAmiga report they have a MMU and it's currently in use
is this just a case where the tools can't actually differentiate properly the LC variant?
one of them is an old motorola cpu and the other an unused freescale one (well it was unused but now I tested it  )
just curious, never really bothered with anything other than a "full" 060 until now
thanks in advance for any info! (y)

yeah,i think the lc version has the mmu and not the floating point maths unit, that was the question, wasnt it?

oh wow I had some dain bramage
I actually thought LC was "low cost" without mmu/fpu and EC was the one with mmu
so this was a waste of forum bytes 🥸

LC is indeed low cost, by EC is supposed to be for embedded controller (targeting low-power, hence stripped MMU as well).
