Hello everybody!

I would like to sell this PCI card i have barely used: since i don't watch TV, i have had it on my pc for less than 3 months and used it twice.

it is a LifeView FlyTv Platinum FM, the indicia on the box are:

Model: LR214KFP-R
TV: PAL
FM Radio
Remote Control [included]

System Req:
Pentium III 500 MHz or higher CPU
MPEG-1: PIII 800 MHz or higher CPU
MPEG-2: P4 1 GHz or higher CPU
Timeshifting: P4 1.8 GHz or higher CPU
128MB of RAM
Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP [It works also on Vista 32 Bit but i recomend the drivers to be downloaded by the site, for that]
DirectX 8.1 VGA card
Outdoor antenna or cable TV connection.

Package contents
FlyTV Platinum card
NTSC converter, PAL converter
Audio Y cable
FM cable
Remote Control
Remote cable
Quick installation guide
Installation CD with user manual.

From the box:
- Analog TV reception with support for worlwide TV and stereo sound standards
- Inputs for S-Video and composite video
- Record TV and analog video to MPEG 1/2/4
- Multichannel preview up to 25 channels at one time
- Time shifting scheduled recording, still image snapshots, Teletext
- Remote Control

Please note that while the card is in perfectly order and works, i don't know anything of international TV signal standards, so if you are interested, please have a look on the WWW to see if this item suits your needs

The card comes with all its original accessories and the original box.

I would tag the price to 15 Euros, or offers, plus shipping (basic surface international service by Poste Italiane, cost varies upon destination).

I accept Paypal and i ship everywhere.

Thanks for reading!

marco

Malco! Welcome to Amibay, my friend.

Hope this lovely piece of hardware sell fast.

BTW: it is not one of those compatible with the Mediator, too?

For Info...

The UK (inc Ireland) uses the PAL I system with 6MHz intercarrier sound.
Europe used the PAL B/G System with 5.5MHz intercarrier sound.

Although the NICAM stereo data format is the same throughout Europe & the UK, the intercarriers are placed at different frequencies for I & B/G locales.

TC :)

Hello guys :)
thanks for the welcome and for the additional info, really! as i said i don't know anything of broadcasting, but if you have questions, i'll try my best to find you answer!
:)

BTW: it is not one of those compatible with the Mediator, too?
i will look for that, but the drivers for the card are strictly needed for it to work on PC already.

[edit] i've searched for drivers, because i had no info about it working on mediator boards, and while there are for Amiga for a different model of Lifeview card, there aren't any for this model, i'm sorry.
