Sold Linksys WRT54G With DDWRT Firmware

Hey guys

I did a swap with this router on this forum as I wanted my xbox 360 wireless. This router has the firmware to do this all you do is plug a Ethernet cable from xbox to router and the router picks up the wireless signal from your home network. It works great on xbox live but for me it was not to good using system link (lot of disconnects).

So I bought a hub and now this is up for sale. Comes with router and mains. You will have to follow a guide on the net to set up the settings to make it search for your home network wireless signal. Plenty of these about

£10 posted in the UK. Rest of Europe add £5. Gifted or buyer pays fee's

The flashed firmware itself just adds more features to use.

I believe this should work as a regular router, unless it was some very funky custom firmware it was flashed with. Normally you just get more specific options with custom firmware

Yeah ddwrt just adds a lot more features, not sure exactly which ones apart from the wireless xbox setup. But it should say on the ddwrt site.

I had enough of this, 10 pounds is reasonable interst declared + shipping, i like to have a router with linux ej45 to wireless costs a lot more!

As it's been so long since his first expression I personally would send him a PM (as a matter of curtesy) and ask him.

Because of the time scale I have no problem with you moving on to mjnurney
