Found Looking for CDTV space bar key

Hello,
does anyone have a space bar key from an Amiga CDTV keyboard?
I recently bought a very beautiful Amiga 500 Black Edition here from Kyle ( https://www.amibay.com/showthread.p...ack-Edition-(-CDTV-keys-)&p=618412#post618412 ) but the space bar key got damaged during the shipping...
If anyone has a spare one please PM me with offer...

With the space bar being the one key on the keyboard without any decal might it be a lot easier trying to paint a regular one to match in?

Yeah, you are right, I think that I could do that if I won't find a replacement... it has a small dent and since except that key all the keys are perfect I am a bit disappointed... thanks for your suggestion!

I have sprayed a couple of keys for CDTV much easier than you think, just make sure you use `Plastikote` Flat Black paint, code 101SF, its an exact match


**note its `Plastikote` , spelled it wrong in my initial post

Don't you have DIY shops near you? You'd only need one of the small cans, and they're available all over the place (here in the UK, at least)

Yes the paint code is right so it will be the same

the smaller the better (at least for my wallet!).
I don't know if I can find it here, I never heard the brand Plastikote but maybe the code is "universal".
I can go ask in a hardware store to see if they have it or I will buy the small can from ebay...

Just a small update on this...
I wasn't able to find that paint so I bought 2 different cans of pretty similar black paint, one is lucid and one opaque...
I will do some tests on old plastic parts before trying to paint the space-bar, however, if someone has an original CDTV space-bar that he can part with, I would still consider buying that...

I will give you my S/bar key from my spare CDTV , I have a A500 that I will spray the s/bar on that and put it on mine.
I would rather give you the original one cos I aint that fussed
