[FONT=Arial, Helvetica]after 8 years of sitting in the wardrobe i unpacked my old A2000 with the GVP Combo040/33 and the EGS Spectrum 110/24 board in it.
i was so stupid back then, that i just simply put my A2000 away into the wardrobe in my room. there it sat for the last 8 years. i unpacked it 2 weeks ago, but the HDD won't start anymore. it was an old 200M scsi drive, now it is trash (it does not even spin up). a working EGS with the driver was on it
oh: i can only remember that it was very hard to get it to work, because i did not get any disks with the card, and noone had them either. i had to put the EGS together from several already installed ones (different version aswell), that was a real pain, and the EGS is poorly documented aswell. do someone of You happen to have (by accident) the EGS disks for the GVP EGS Spectrum 110/24 or any other EGS install disks? (i have the install disks for the Rainbow3, but i have not tried them, due to lack of time) I managed to test the installed EGS (v6.2) system with the A2410 card (it was a pain to get it working too), but the GVP110 driver simply crashes as it gets loaded. i made several EGS installs. there is one setup, the G110 driver gets loaded, but no screen appears. i got v7.4 driver for the G110 but no v7.4 EGS install disks. the TOSEC coll. has the G110 installs, but one of them is missing (iirc the 4th)
