Hi everyone,
I recently acquired a Motorola 68060 MC68060RC50 Rev.6 CPU for my upcoming Amiga 1200 build with a TF1260 accelerator. The CPU will arrive in early December, while the Amiga itself will be delivered in 2026.
As I have no Amiga yet, I’d really like to verify that the chip is fully functional and that it is indeed a genuine Rev. 6 68060.
I’m located in north-central Massachusetts (ZIP 01450), and I can also easily travel to Nashua, New Hampshire, or anywhere within a 2-hour drive.
If anyone in this area has a TF1260 or another 68060-based accelerator and would help me test the CPU, I would sincerely appreciate it.
Of course, I’m happy to meet wherever is convenient for you.
Please let me know if you can help or if you know someone nearby who can.

Got this diamond today. Still no one here to help?

Well, I cannot help you testing this CPU, but the code "71E41J" in the top right corner commonly indicates
that it is the latest Rev 6 you wanted and it should have potential for overclocking.

QCT0048A contains a production date:. 00 = year 2000, 48. week, A is an internal batch number.
So, your CPU is one of the very latest 060 CPUs made by Motorola, while production was slowly running out.
Looks like a good choice.
The vertical code on the left S23328-004 is an internal part number of the manufacturer and does not reveal any spec data. I hope this helps.

Thanks, pal! I am still waiting for my new old Amiga 1200 + accl to test it.
