Looking to get an Neo Geo AES - advice required

In preparation for the MVS/AES SD cart that's looming soon I'm looking to get a AES as I've always wanted one and it'll look nicer on my shelf than my MVS does.
What I'd like to know is:

What are the best version to buy for RGB? I've found conflicting information on the net thus far. Some say get one with serial number 20,000 to 36,000 for best. Some say higher serial numbers. Confusing.
Does anyone have one that they might want to sell?

I asked this very question on a forum more in line with Neo Geo equipment and got completely ignored. I know my trusty Amibay members won't let me down!!!

Maybe we don't know enough about Neogeo MVS to help ?!

Sold my MVS setup but Manic has one still.

With an MVS you will need a Supergun and they're all RGB-Start as far as I know, also MVS recently got an Everdrive so no more need for those dodgy multi carts.

Both systems are very expensive for original games and MVS-AES converters are extremely expensive so I'd recommend an MVS unless you want to collect a proper console and original games.

You can consolise the smaller 1 slot MVS quite easy, there are quite a few guides on the Internet but I just used mine naked, I should have a thread on Amibay somewhere.
