Hello. I am based in the UK. Many years ago I owned an Amiga 500. I still consider it the greatest computer I ever owned. Sadly I had to sell it back then to get the funds for a PC to use for my college work. A decision I have always regretted. Recently I have been thinking of reliving those days by getting an Amiga again. I would call it a mid-life crisis if it wasn't far too late to be calling it that
:D

The nice thing is that you can build brand new systems today.
I am building a 4000D. I have the ReAmiga motherboard and Zorro cards.
I have an order in for CNC aluminum front fascia, and I will pay today for the sheetmetal case and cover.
Beware though, prices on Amiga stuff has exploded and it is an expensive hobby for sure, but great fun.
Good luck.

It's an interesting idea but I would not be able to build my own. The more I look into it, the more I do feel this may all be too expensive for me even for just a A500.

A Basic A500 does pop up now and then at an affordable price. There are many chancers from ebay trying their luck here and finding it difficult to move their profiteering on 😀

Try a wanted thread and maybe someone will offer what you want at a “normal “ price

If not there’s always emulation or even better an original fpga mist ( mister although it replicates many more systems like ps1 or n64 it can be quite pricey )

@Nemac as suggested by Sardine put up a Wanted thread and see what pops up.

If you think it's too expensive simply don't buy it.

P.S. Please update your location info with your Region information
