Mac Classic II still faulty after recapping

You can apply some IPA (isopropanol) using a cotton bud to the affected area and then dab it with some paper towels (can press it into the corners using another cotton bud) before the IPA evaporates. Repeat until it looks clean and the paper towels no longer becomes brown.
