Master System fm module

Have had my fm module installed in my SMS1 for a year or so, I've noticed some games sound really awkward and I find myself wondering if it's not getting enough power or the caps in my SMS need replacing.

If someone has an SMS with an fm board, could you try Outrun and record the first minute of Magical Sound Wave ? Would like to compare it to mine.

I too have installed an FM module in my Master System. And it rocks! I've used it a little and can't hear any "problems". But, I do remember reading sooooooooomewhere on the world wide web that a certain batch of the chips were faulty. Perhaps it might be worth checking that.

BTW, R-Type FM sound through my stereo....yeeeeeehah that bass

EDIT - and now that I've re-read the OP comments, I think OutRun was one of those games that are used to test for the "problem" sound.
