Warm greetings to this amazing Amiga community and my fellow Amigans !

Since I'm working on a 4000TX motherboard build (well, actually that would @hese 🙃, I’ll need to find an ATX case to accommodate it, ideally one with a glass side panel or window :)

What would be your suggestions ?

If anything else, what cases are you using with your Amiga 4000TX builds ?

Cheers,
Alexander

I've done two A4kTX's in a Thermaltake H26 case.

Two words... Fractal Design! I have three PCs in FD cases and I will never again use anything else. Well worth the money and super easy to install components and route wires. Even my two kids (grown adults) switched to FD cases for their latest PC builds.

Thanks so much Bruce for sharing the ones that you has used for your builds, highly appreciated ! Doesn't seem to be sold anywhere these days though ...

Keep 'm coming .... ;-)

Thanks, AmigaPete ! Fractal Design definitely makes some sleek cases, but I'm not sure if they'd be a perfect fit for the Amiga 4000TX board, especially when I will be installing a DVD drive

Yes, I know that if you want a 5.25" drive bay the selection is limited. In the Define series the R5 has two bays and the R7 has one - I have one of each.

They are and many use them. But its not the cases you are thinking of. It has to be the Focus G (which is Perfect for the 4000tx) and many prefer the red one for an Amiga.

Thanks a lot for the tip PainDictator, appreciated. Looks like this is going to be the new home for the Amiga TX build :)

Any PSU's that you would recommend ?

Be Quiet System Power 10 has a DC-DC converter which is Good for the typical Amiga loads.

Thanks for the suggestions @hese, but went with the red colored Fractal Design Focus G in the end 🤩

This case from Silverstone is awesome and i have been looking for a desktop case to house the A4000TX for a long time.
However, they give maximum lenght of expansion cards up to 30,9 cm while Zorro cards can be up to 35 cm (Commodore specs), including important cards like the bridgeboards.
