Re: More free hardware

Hi,

I'm interested in the DCTV (DCTS?) as this will be great to use to add it into the Classicamiga Software and hardware databases.

If you could let me know what the postage would be to send this to the UK that would be great.

Shipping is 9,50 euros for standard shipping.

I'm very interested in the SCSI case, but not in the tape device.

Can it counted as interest?

Major problem is the postage to Brazil (and wifie knowing about it)...

The case can only take 3.5" devices and it's pretty ugly (yellowed with green feet - it looks a bit gay really). You sure you want it? :D

Yes, yellowing is not a problem anymore. Green feet? Swap 'em for white ones (or leave all as-is, looking as a Brazil flag :D )

But SCSI cases are hard to come by in my area.

Hmm... ghey... Maybe I give it to Fred...

You'll have to have a VERY vivid imagination for that. No ordem or progresso is going to make it a decent Brazilian flag

Anyway, shipping to Brazil would be €22,95. If that's not too expensive for you, drop me a pm, then I'll give you further details.

This means that the tapestreamer is still there for anyone interested.

But that SCSI case is really very very ugly, don't say I didn't warn you

 Interesting, anyway. But now with the USD going high I think the postage is prohibitive.:(

€23? Wife will kill me! This if brazilian customs don't take the case for themselfs.

Re: More free hardware

Hi McVenco :)

The DCTV is something I should have registered my interest in much earlier!

Is it PAL & are there any specific hardware requirements for the Amiga?

I would plan to use it with an A2000, '030, 8mb fast, 2mb chip.

If it is still available & my machine is suitable I'd love to take it off your hands (granted shipping cost to Australia isn't insane)

There are no specific hardware requirements other than having an Amiga :) (and a free parallel port)
Shipping to Oz is a b*tch though - no less than €23 :| (same shipping costs for any country outside Europe and with a weight below 2 kg)

If the disks might be faulty you can also find them on http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/dctv

Hmmm, pretty pricey shipping, but I really would like the DCTV :|

Can you hold it until Thursday when I can make payment?

Re: More free hardware

The DCTV arrived today...BIG thanks McVenco, I look forward to trying it out!

Not tonight though, I've had enough playing around with stuff after having to totally rebuild the power board of an audio mixer for some numbnut who plugged in any old power supply thinking it would be ok (remember kids, AC-out PSUs kill DC-reliant hardware, what an tool! hahahaha  ).

Now that the DCTV is recycled & the other item removed by McVenco...thread locked.

@McVenco: If you want the thread unlocked to add further items in the future, just drop me a PM :D
