WIKI quote
Force Feedback Pro
With the launch of the Precision Pro, Microsoft decided to also enter the fray of force feedback joysticks, with the introduction of the Force Feedback Pro. Built on the design of the Precision Pro, the Force Feedback Pro differed only in the inclusion of motors for the force feedback effects, and the lack of USB compatibility. Due to the inclusion of the motors, the Force Feedback Pro was significantly larger and heavier than the Precision Pro, making it easy to differentiate between the two.

bascally it's big, it has a power brick and weighs in at 2.5Kg when packaged

£9.00 postage plus £5.00, total £14.00

pm if you are still interested

it is a great joystick

what I did to mine is cut the powerlead, then add a molex conector and connected that to the powerpack of the pc, that way the joystick only gets power when pc is on

:hijacked:(Slightly)

I too have a couple of these most awesome joysticks. Does anyone know anything about the Microsoft Overdrive commands that control the force feedback? It appears that even if you add a gameport to USB adapter to these sticks that they aren't guaranteed to work under XP SP2 or later.

I'd really like to be able to understand how the force feedback commands and protocols work, then investigate if a USB adapter that understands the protocols could be made, so that these sticks could be used under Widows Vista and Seven.

Meanwhile, back at the original thread......
