After recieving this SCSI case from a freecycler i knew i wanted to use it as an external HDD and CD.
However with only having a surf squirrel with a centronics connector and the box having a different connector i couldn't connect the two together.
After a little discussion over in the AmiOracle section i soon discovered that the scsi box had a 50 pin hd connector. Anyhow, skip forward a few months. A new home, some new amiga kit collected on Sunday and best of all a 50pin HD to Centronics cable.
I've plugged into the external connector of my A2000 GVP scsi controller to set up the HDD and make sure the CDRW works and i'm happy to say all is GREAT!
Its about the same width and length of the A2000 and is sitting very happily between the machine and the monitor and looks like a natural addition.

Open and showing the 4gb HDD on the left and the Teac 24x CDRW on the right.

All i need now is the missing caddy from the middle slot and i'll have space for the other HDD i want in there.
