I recently picked up an A4000 lot, and there is a dongle-style device that I can't readily identify. When I found it, it was in a box with 2 Sentinel security dongles for Lightwave and a Digi-View Gender Changer, which it was plugged into. My initial assessment was that it was a digi-view (Since it was plugged into the gender changer) but then I realized it didn't have a RCA connector for video input, and it has 2 female 25 pin D connectors. There are no markings on it whatsoever, the front looks just like the back and it's potted, so they didn't want people looking inside.
Anyone seen something like this before? The machine came with a ton of high end video/graphics/3D/Audio software, so it *could* be some kind of security dongle.
