For Sale neatSRAM. SRAM circuit for Commodore 64

neatSRAM is a DRAM replacement circuit for Commodore 64. It’s mainly designed for 250466 and 250469 motherboards with 2 DRAM chips. But with extra wires it also works in older motherboards with 8 DRAM chips. SRAM circuits are used to fix motherboards with faulty DRAM chips. SRAM also fixes the VSP bug which is common in 250469 motherboards. Using SRAM allows you to play games like Mayhem in Monsterland and Super Mario Bros which use the VSP feature. neatSRAM used a double latch circuit making it compatible with some picky VIC-II R5 chips. Developed together with another Finnish designer.

For sale is 12 10 pieces of assembled neatSRAM. Also on sale elsewhere. Available with round pins or flat pins. Round pins make the profile a little bit higher but is compatible with all IC sockets. Flat pins are not compatible with turned round pin IC sockets.

250407 motherboard got the DRAM chips 0.05” closer together and requires the use of flat pins. The flat pins can bend to fit into the DRAM sockets.

Let me know if you intend to use neatSRAM in older 8 DRAM IC motherboard. I can include solid strand wire.

You need only one. The example picture is of neatPLA. I can take a picture of neatSRAM with flat pins the next time someone orders one.
