I am looking to either purchase or borrow an external beige A 1011 floppy drive to 3D scan the drive.
I intend to 3D scan it in using a metrology grade 3D scanner for 1) Preservation and 2) Recreation using large format resin printers to house my greaseweasel, external gotek, pc Drives.
I also aim to fashion a case using that form factor for my Vampire 4 Standalone.
In the case of borrowing the drive I would have it for a week's time then ship it back.
