Well actually old blood, but who cares
I'm a long time Commodore fan starting with my old and (t)rusty C64 that I bought in the 80s. I had the old breadbin with cassette tape. Since that was way too slow, I started saving for a 1541 which I got several months later. Oh the joy! But soon that felt too slow to load too, so I bought a KCS power cardridge and life was good again. Later purchases include a philips 8833 monitor (same inside as the 1084 commodore monitor but different front).
After a few years, I saw an Amiga 1000 in a store, and wanted one (obviously) but could never afford it. Then when the Amiga 500 came out, I saw my chance and sold my C64 (which I still regret) and bought one. This system was expanded with more ram, a hard drive of 52mb and extra drives.
I still have the A500 and the monitor, and recently bought a few C64s and 128s for I guess mainly sentimental reasons. I've also bought an Ultimate II and I'm planning to build a Tapuino (which brought me to finally register an account here) and experiment with my RaspberryPi to see how I can connect that to the C64 (plans include 1541 emulation and serial port/networking).
That's about it. Thanks for reading
