The bottom of the cooler is made out of copper. There is some 20 year old thermalpaste applied
The coolers are very effective
The only thing I would complain about is the quality of the clip. You need to bend it to make a fit for Tualatins. For Coppermine and AMD CPUs it is just fine but fragile.
