Hi Everyone,
I'm an avid retro-pc enthusiast.
Came from vogons, but I'm also very active over at r/Homelab.
I collect mostly 1997-2000 era computer hardware.
Among my most priced items is an original 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 that I originally purchased back in the day at a local computer show (I no longer have the box)
Also worth mentioning is that I have this card installed in the same PC that I built back then. (P3 socket 370, 768mb ram, Adaptec SCSI w/30gb HDD, etc)
Additionally, have a couple of beige ATX systems with Socket A and ordinary but period-correct items (Athlon XP 2200+, 512mb sdram, ATI AIW 7200)
Included in my collection are:
2x Dell GX110 (all original)
2x Dell GX1 (one heavily modified since it used to be my gaming system back in the 2000's)
1x Compaq Presario 5000 (all original too)
I am also an avid follower of quite a few YouTube retro channels, most notably LGR, Retrospector78, Tech Tangents, Adrian's Digital Basement, and of course, phil's computer lab.
Glad to have joined this community and looking forward to being an active member
