Hi there, folks.
Long time Amiga user here. Had my first one (an A600) around 1992, followed by an A1200 (first stock, then with a GVP 1230, Blizzard 1260), an A4000D, then an Escom A4000T, with an A1000 and a CD32 in between.
In the early days of domestic internet, I created the first Amiga-related mailing list and IRC channel in Brazil (amigabr) and even hosted an Aminet mirror for a short while. Also, I organized the biggest Amiga-exclusive user meetings in Brazil (Amichurras), despite being in the south end of the country.
I was also a member of the Amiga Translator's Organization during this time, translating OS 3.1, 3.5 and 3.9 to Brazilian portuguese, as well as many programs and games.
When my A4000T died in my hands, in 2002 or 3, and nobody around was able to fix it, I ended up selling it for peanuts for a smartass that probably knew how to fix it, and then I quit the scene altogether in disgust.
Fast forward some 20-odd years and I'm back. First with an A600 given by a friend, and now also after scoring an A1200 from another.
Well... I guess this is enough for an introduction. Cheers!
