Tech Tangents, right? They made videos on building a Windows 98 and XP PC with New Old Stock parts.
I wanna do that for 2027, but for Windows Vista.
First item: PC Case from that era. Here I’m building a battlestation like no other. Server parts. HD. Blu-Ray. All to play Crysis (3) and Doom (Eternal).
What’s the price:
My asking price will be around…$50 USD or more? What I’m saying is it will be so powerful it can play solitaire. /j
You may also throw these parts in too because that’s what I’m going for, but they must all be NOS:
CPU: Intel Core i7 4960X Extreme
Motherboard: LGA 2011 DDR3 Board with PCIe
RAM: 64GB DDR3
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Z or Onboard Audio
Cooler: Zalman Copper Cooler or Noctua Cooler

Mouse: Any
Gamepad: Logitech F710 “The Titanic”
Speakers: Anything from Creative Labs
Monitor: 4K 60FPS Monitor (Any)
DVD: 52x Blu-Ray Drive (internal), but needs to work with Vista

PSU: NEEDS TO BE MODERN 1000W!! I AM TOO YOUNG TO EXPLODE.

So let the chaos commence, as I step into PC building hell, as it was last time trying to build a Windows 95 PC. If you’re wondering the hard drive was broken. I’ll never buy parts from eBay ever again. /j
