Hi.

I'm going to build another A1200 desktop than my flagship computer (see signature).

I'm going to use my unused parts, which include a 060/200 BPPC, a BVision, a BMon autoswitch, and some others. I will also include an Indivision AGA, either my old MKI or my Amigakit pre-ordered MKII to come.

First step, the BVision. Although i have one for almost a decade, i have never used it and i think i don't even own the VGA cable of that board.
My question is: where can i get the special screws to fit the BVision on the BPPC (never had any) and is the VGA cable special or any cable such as the flat cable of the Indivision will do?

Second step, the harddrive: i would like to use either the SCSI part of the BPPC or a FastATA. As for the SCSI, how can i use an internal laptop IDE or SATA drive in a simple way on the SCSI connector? About the FastATA, will i have the room with the Indi MKII?

Thanks for your help. :)

Thanks for the info.
Those cable aren't cheap. I need to check how the BMon can be connected first.

I am working on it today.

Here is the BPPC i'm using.

And now here are the Bvision and the cable i have found in my junk.

Does it look like the correct cable to you?

I have cloned the boot partition of my main A1200 on a Microdrive and i am trying to boot from that, after having just connected the BPPC. Problem is it fails at LoadV43module ... (which update the IDE driver). If i comment out this line, i only get a black screen (something must be causing trouble later in the startup-sequence.
But i am wondering if i'm not forgetting something. I remember something about a bppcfix. At what point should i install the PPC software and what do i need? I should have the correct 060 libs as the other A1200 has a B1260.
Note also that my main A1200 has 3.1 roms whereas this one only has 3.0.

Well i'm changing my mind. It seems something is no good when booting from my other A1200 clone partition because i have ROM 3.0 instead of 3.1 and i can't figure it out. I do not have any other 3.1 spare ROM. I have a set of beta 3.9 ROM but the BPPC is not detected any more with those.

So i may instead move to MorphOS for classic.
As i can use it without the BVision, i need informations about the original screws to secure the BVision to the BPPC: how do they look like and where can i get them?

Thanks.
