(y) Thanks 4 the history lesson! I enjoyed the slideshow of one of the first computers I ever saw. someone I met briefly took me to thier house back then to show me. vary cool to remember this memory.:)

But I don't think any 1000s shipped with Daphne, I think by that time it was all Denise wasn't it?

Seeing this article along with other posts reminds of the first Amiga I saw: an Amiga 1000 at the US Navy Exchange store in Great Lakes. I'd only been out of boot camp for a short time when I was browsing for a computer. Should have bought an Amiga then.

Thanks for posting that Amiga-Resistance link. Not sure why I haven't come across that site in the last few weeks but it's a wealth of info.
