This is where someone is selling a bundle of items together for a single price, and wants to sell the whole as one single job lot, yet people are declaring interest in parts of the item "if the seller decides to split".

Whilst we understand that it is tempting to do this, we ask that you do not do it as a buyer, as the items are not for sale in the way that you want them to be. If the seller hasn't clearly stated that the item may be split, then please assume that it is not for sale as split items or parts.

It creates tremendous confusion for other members and moderators, and it doesn't help the seller at all with the sale. It also could be seen as a method of "silent bidding" or creating a "silent auction" for a part of the offered item via PM. This is against our site rules.

So why cant i ask? I don't really see a problem at all. Maybe if someone asked before and they said no i would like to keep it as a bundle i could see someone else asking as spam but how else am i meant to know if they are unwilling to sell separately if they didn't declare that?

OR would i just be able to PM?

Okay so my understanding is you arnt allowed to PM about that either as its unfair to other users. Still i think this is an unfair rule but its not my forums so i just have to go by what is written.

If Amigafanboi wanted to split the items he would have said so and also put individual prices against each item.

As it is he hasn't oh:

When and if he decides to split he will need to add individual prices and at that time you can express interest but not until.
