Hi!
haven't posted here for a while, been between jobs and so on...
Now i have some spare time finaly and got my hands on nintendo NES (EU version) with fault.
Since many of you have excellent know-how with old fashioned electronics i hope some of you might know how to help me.
When i power it on , there's no red light , neither blinking nor powered on.
Tried different power bricks , tried my working NES with this power brick - all good.
Then i took it apart , first thing that came to my mind - changed the big 2200, 35V capacitor in metal boxing where the video and power inputs/outputs are - still nothing.
IF i plug it in and try the board with multimeter for voltage when it's turned off by switch , there's still full voltage on whole mainboard.
when i measure power switches, led , reset switch ,everythings looks fine , voltage comes when pushed ..but there's no light and nothing on screen.
Just a weird humm from speakers on tv.
any idea maybe ?
thank you in advance !
