Hi Folks,

Selling my Oculus Rift (DK1). It's in excellent condition and complete as originally supplied with the headset, extra lenses, breakout box etc. Looking for £175 posted (courier) in the UK.

Payment via paypal gift (or fees paid).

I'll get photo's up tonight.

Cheers

It's a very different experience to the games without the Rift. Half life 2 for instance and Minecraft is amazing. I've not played other games as such but loads of the demos and "experience" apps are great. You need to make sure your hardware is compatible though - and with it being a dev kit - you need to also understand that some things will work and some wont and that's usually down to PC hardware differences (for instance Windows 7 with NVidia video card is more compatible with things than Windows 7 with Radeon video card is). Cheers, John

PC Spec -

  • NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD 290 equivalent or greater
  • Intel i5-4590 processor equivalent or greater
  • 8GB+ RAM
  • Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output
  • 2 USB 3.0 ports
  • Windows 7 SP1 or newer

Is that correct?

Looks fine - the GTX will be better for compatibility than the 290 but again - some things will work on the AMD that wont on the GTX and vice versa.
