Hey everyone,
I have almost 5-6 boxes of Amiga and PC floppy disks mixed up here.
It would be wrong to throw them into the garbage now that we all have microplastics in our bodies.
I am based near Glasgow in Scotland and would like to donate these to anyone that could use them?
It would be best if you could pick them up but i would be happy to post them if you wanted to cover postage?
Or if anyone can recommend a recycling place that would take these it would be also appreciated.
Thanks
Slipstream.
Edit: So I weighed the boxes and disks + boxes it came in about 9kg.
I put them in a linen bag and used my luggage weigher thing to work that out.
Its probably not super accurate but that's the best I got.
There is a couple of disks that have CVs on them ( they must be super old ) I have ordered a USB floppy disk from amazon and ill wipe them before I send them over.
Do you want me to proceed? what do you recon Royal Mail or DHL or something ?
