I got a bit curious the other day in a discussion about keyboards. Our first PC was a 4.75mhz XT with characater graphics, later upgraded to a hercules clone. was fun tinkering in basic and all. But the second PC we got was in the late 80s, it was an 8mhz XT but with CGA and that is the one I want to recall which model was.
The machine looked like this:
However, I seem to recall (my memory could be fragmented) the keys being of the this type:
as in round on top, don't think it shared the color scheme. not sure.
So anyone have seen an olivetti that looked like the m24 and had a keyboard with those style keys? since we bought it second hand, it could have been a replacement keyboard. But I think it said olivetti, however not sure. it is 30 years ago and i had to look twice on the m24 image to recall the style of the front.
the keyboard could also have said cherry, but it could also be the keyboard of my friend that said that because i found the one on their computer in an archive of cherry keyboards. In any case, the computer came with one disk drive and one hard drive. the hard drive being a 20MB 5.25" half height (our first had a full height 5.25" drive). but that could also have been added later on.
