For sale:
BLIZZARD PPC 603e/60 200/50MHz 128MB working perfectly (without SCSI)

The board is already updated with the latest FIRMWARE (unofficial Phase5) "last private with OpenPCI 2.2 support, version 44.71, date 26/04/2002". Retrieved from the web:
https://www.a1k.org/

In addition, the package includes:
  • A Blizzard PPC damaged by delamination after overheating the board in an attempt to remove the original 68040. This Blizzard is for parts only.
  • Three 53C710 SCSI chips (To upgrade BLIZZARD to SCSI)
  • Multiple UC5603 chips (To upgrade BLIZZARD to SCSI)
  • One battery (To be replaced in the BLIZZARD)
  • Six 18GB SCSI hard drives (4 Seagate and 2 Quantum Atlas)
  • A SUPER SCAR4U Rev 1.0 SCSI chassis with fan (the latter is very important). With this rack you need a very powerful power supply since the four hard drives in it have a high energy consumption. If you connect it to the Amiga's source, it won't boot. Each Seagate drive has a power consumption of 7.1W (5/12v 0.7A/0.3 AMP) and the Quantum 22.5W each.
  • A newly purchased fan for the PPC that, in case it doesn't arrive on time, I will send it free of charge to the buyer of this pack. I show purchase invoice.
All tested and working properly except for the damaged Blizzard.

The Blizzard 603e has not been used practically because it does not have SCSI so I was forced to buy another one that did and that I have installed in the Amiga 1200 that a great friend gave me.

The pack is indivisible as I bought all the items with the intention of turning the 603e into a 603e+ (hence the chips).

Obviously I can't offer a warranty due to the age of the product and I don't accept returns either, but I show two videos where you can see that it works perfectly.

As you can see in the photos, the pack will be perfectly protected in two cardboard boxes. The foam protection, which completely surrounds the inner case, is to cushion strong shocks that could damage hard drives or crystal oscillators. The total weight of the package is approximately 7 kilograms (50x35x30) and I am shipping it from Tres Cantos, Madrid (Spain).

If anyone wishes to include insurance on the product, they should let me know before making the payment, as the price of shipping will vary for sure.

The payment will be made through PayPal <Snip>

The price of the pack is 950€ + 50% shipping (I pay half)

Image 07 shows a black box. There goes the Blizzard PPC 603e, two 64MB memory modules, a new battery, and the chips needed to turn the 603e into a 603e+. Some other components, such as resistors or capacitors, will have to be put in by the technician using the damaged Blizzard included in the pack as a reference.

In images 18 and 19 you can see the Blizzard broken...

And from 20 to 25 you can see that the card is installed and working.

Images 10, 11, 12 and 13 shows the rack with all the components. I am preparing a document explaining its installation and operation. I will send it when I finish it.

The last image is the bill for the batteries.

Greetings to all.
Thank you.
