Ok this has infuriated me today..

i sent out some xboxes other day. one of them arrived 1 was unable to be deliverd so they resceduled for today (not a problem)

but this is rediculous..
at aproximatly 12pm i checked the tracking and saw this..

15/08/2011 10:38:00Goods collected
15/08/2011 17:04:00On route to delivery depot
16/08/2011 06:01:00Arrived at Delivery Depot

17:59:00 ???

now that cant be right because thats like 6 hours in the future. So i went to pm the person who was suposed to recive it, I saw a pm wating for me. they were at home and wating for the delivery.

So I went to contact the help people..

so i waited about an hour and no email...

Now i didnt reopen the chat to see the name of the person i was talking too I just looked at the name of the sender of the email so in the following conversation i get the name wrong. and i may have exagirated when i noticed the issue, But thats irrelivant.
Point is there was no email about the issue so i started a nother chat help..

Garry Roberts: how do i know it is not back at the depo and they put this time stamp on it, thinking i would be at work and not know that it had said 17:59:00 all day?

Garry Roberts: well aslong as it arrives today and it is a miss scan then all is ok. But I will find it hard to believe they even tried to deliver it, if it does not arrive today as it seems like they scanned it to say 17:59 thinking i would not be here to notice that the time it arrived back at the depo was infact 10am not 6pm

Now I dont know if the parcell will arrive today or not. but i honestly belive they just left the thing at the depo, Marked it as returned and assumed that by the time i saw the status it would be after 6pm.

If this is true then I may never use citylink again, So i am prety frustrated about the whole thing. and thought id come share it.

@Shambles, i was awaiting a parcel from dabs.com last week and when i checked the tracking (they used yodel) it said the same thing, that the parcel had been returned to the depot at 17:59 but i received the parcel anyway at about 3 in the afternoon.

I was also awaiting a parcel from ebuyer (yodel again) which when checking the tracking number said they'd attempted delivery and left a card even though i'd been in all day. I contacted the depot and they told me that the parcel had not even been loaded but to my surprise i received the parcel about 30 minutes later. When i asked the driver about the failed delivery and card he told me this was his first attempt at delivery!

Sometimes i think somebody just makes the tracking up.

I was laughing but it is understandable why you were angry on why hadnt been sented out to deliver them on time.

I used Royal mail to sent the item as i know they are really expensive but they do get the job done making sure the person got it

Everyone have different posting weather it is citylinks or other for cheaper postage but for tracking post seem bit pointless when they are not careful on giving you information where the post was!!!

The Xbox with 2,298 Arcade games(Yes, I do remember most of the arcade I went on back in the 80/90`s when I put all my coin in) is out of this world as it like having Own Arcade at home!!

Ah Sh1ttylink, they've done my head in a few times as well. I tend to avoid them where possible. Although they did send my new telly yesterday and they were OK!

they havent been aproblem before its just this tracking buisiness...

Crazy thing is.. Lol.
AFTER the parcel was deliverd correctly, they sent me an email saying they couldnt deliver it.. But they did.

If i was unscruplious id go and try to claim the insurance, but they been prety reasonable so far, and i would not like to think poeple do that and end up getting the courier costs raized.
