Opening thread to track service already in progress by Roy Bates

this is in for repair and service,lopt has failed and the part is on order
already replaced the mains switch(it was sketchy) and done some work on the board as it needed some attention,ill put up a couple of pics for tranparency in bit after a hot drink

second picture is just tidying up a previus repair someone did,under the lopt,first one is the rgb port

this is now fully working,ive done a soak test to amke sure all the controls and functions works as they should

ill put up some pictures in a bit.it was also a bit grubby,so i gave it a clean

excuse the mess,i moved it downstairs the room isnt used to do repairs,its basically junk storage

Roy, I’ve been told you are THE man for monitor repairs, I have a 1084S that doesn’t switch on. Also I have a full set of caps for it which could be replaced while it’s being looked at. I can deliver and pick up.
