Picasso II to a hdtv using the vga port

Hello everyone Here on Amibay Just wondered if anyone out there can Help me


ive just got myself a >Picasso II and I want to connect it to a bush 24inch Hdtv though the VGA port on the back


do I need to buy one of these ? >Amiga RGB to VGA Monitor Adapter ?

as ive tried to just use a vga lead from the Picasso 2 to my hdtv vga port without success :roll:

I have tried both of them on the card :( tv just says no display

do I need to install the drivers for the card before I get a picture or do I need to buy one of these ? >Amiga RGB to VGA Monitor Adapter ?

Of course you have to install Drivers!

Use the Picasso91 2.1c drivers!!

Hi mate, you dont need an RGB adaptor as the output from the Picasso is VGA.

You need to install the Picasso96 drivers before you will get output from the card. Install the drivers with your 1084s hooked up, reset the machine then when you go to Prefs>Screen Modes you will have all the Picasso II screen modes available. Choose something like Picasso II 800x600 8bit then click use (not save whilst your testing) and it should switch from the RGB output to Picasso VGA output :)
