I'm selling one of my PiStorms with a LazaruStorm board for the A500. As usual I ended up building 2 of them but I only need 1 set so this one can find a new home
Raspberry Pi not included. You can use a Raspberry Pi 3A+ or Pi Zero 2 / Zero 2 W, I'm using a Pi Zero 2 W and it works without issues
The PiStorm by itself can also be used on an A2000, but the LazaruStorm board is specifically for the A500
Notes:
Due to a limitation of the PiStorm it's not guaranteed to work when used externally with the LazaruStorm unless you remove the internal CPU from its socket. A few people say it works even with the internal CPU connected so I guess it depends on the motherboard revision or something else, so keep in mind that you might have to remove the internal 68000.
Once you remove the 68000 you can then switch between the original 68000 and the PiStorm without opening the Amiga again. The original 68000 works fine in the LazaruStorm
On certain motherboard revisions you might have to make a small modification to bring the clock signal to the edge connector
A500 rev 8/A500+: no modifications needed
A500 rev 6: solder blob on JP6
A500 rev 5: jumper wire between edge connector and a pad near the CPU
Of course the PiStorm will always work when plugged into the internal socket, this is only relevant for external operation with the LazaruStorm
I'm mentioning this so there are no surprises, but even on rev 5/rev 6 boards the job is not hard and takes just 10 minutes. Also if you have any issues you can just let me know and I'll help you out
Price for the bundle: 75€ + shipping
