how many mm is the distance between the mobo and accelerator? measure the spacer body and I'll try to make you 2 threaded spacers from the leftovers of the csppc spacers I did with Amigaz... I can only do 2 though, sine I only have 4 teflon screws :)
with them in place, no accelerator can move :)

you can see one here:

edit: forgot to mention, those will be completely free :D

If keropi isn't able to supply what you need, I have a kit that contains many different sizes, including Teflon screws. I might have one I could send, so let me know.

yeah, for a tower mod threaded spacers are mandatory! you actually bolt down the accelerator! Sadly I only have 4 screws, that is enough for 2 spacers , but since they will be very sturdy just use 2 normal ones on the connector side and you will be fine!

I purchased the kit several years ago from a large electronic supplier (Jameco, I think) to use for missing hardware when working on other people's computers. I didn't need the spacers very often so I still have quite a few left. I know shipping for 1 spacer is crazy but if you need me to look, just let me know.

A cyberstorm MKI has connectors all over the place. It's about 1.8 centimeter.

I did not find a kit yet..

@Keropi,

Thanks a lot mate. To be honest I found a few "spacers" on ebay, it might be because of language difference, but they seem to cost more then reasonable.

Again, thanks

those teflon spacers are ridiculously expensive! I remember I payed 30-40eur for parts to build 10 of them :blink: , eight went on my 2 csppc's and 2 where "spares" to cover construction accidents :roll:

If you are cutting some paid parts, please recoup some costs.. I would do exactly the same, since helping me with this means lost stock etc.. I always try to catch a small amount myself to recoup some costs if I made them..

That's not making money or commercial activity... It can pay of in the long run, since you won't get rich out of it, but will be able to help more people..
