Hi All!

Firstly, I hope this is the right place to post - If not please move

Kipper2k over at EAB is producing some fantastic items for A600/A1200 and I said I'd promote a possible group buy over here (I really hope thats ok?) I know there will be people here interested :)

He is developing a PCB so that you can fit the Indivision ECS and keep the Floppy Drive in your A600:

He is also working on a CF-IDE adapter that involves extending the PCMCIA slot on your A600/A1200 so that the CF card can be removed without opening your Amiga:

All the info is in the EAB threads if people here are interested I'm happy to have them sent to me and foward them on to save postage. For now I think its just a show of hands to see whose intersted and go from there since its still very much at the design stage.

Again, hope its ok to mention this here

Hi.
I am very interested in the first item. Would be great too if it allows Apollo 630 user to use the Indivision (there is a conflict between them for a few millimeters).
Count me in for this one

You can hack it easily Xanxi mate. Just insert one more socket and cut the 1st pin on the upper row wiring the signal to the upper socket :)

It's not for the fain hearted though :)

Hey Xanxi,

I'm not sure if this adapter would solve your issue, I guess we have to see the prototype and take measurements.

I'd be happy to post them to all neighbouring EU countries as well since Airmail out of UK us cheap for said countries :)

Is that just to allow you to use the Apollo, or does that allow you to use FDD as well?

Yeah very cool!
I'm interested by the CF-IDE adapter!!!
I had the same idea as Kipper2k, but doing it with a cable! :shhh:

I would certainly be intested in the adapter that would allow me to keep my A600's floppy drive with the Indivision ECS - please count me in.

I think the adapter is cool, but I would rather have one of the right angle PCBs adapters that neatly keep the CF card inside the case, so if anyone is upgrading to this new idea I would certainly be interested in their old right angle internal only CF adapter!

New stuff like this is the best part about owning an Amiga

I posted my interest in the other thread for the Indivision adapter, but I didn't see the CF card extender. I would definitely be interested that adapter as well as I am constantly using WinUAE to try things like the new SCSI.device module by Cosmos, and SCUMMvm from Novacoder and that adatper would make it very easy to be able to shift settings like that.

Hi All!

Kipper2k has started his own sale thread now:

Please declare interest in his thread, I'm happy to receive and forward on the adapters in the UK and nearby EU country's and post them on, this will save on postage to everyone as Airmail and local postage is cheap out of UK :)

Steve.

What about the Indivision adapter?
It could also solve the conflict between the Indi and most of the A500 accelerators that fit on the CPU socket.
