ok here's the thing,

looking to buy something on eBay, I'll have to bid on a lot of about 10.

individually I know what I want to pay and not go above it.

then I will need to shift all but 1 at cost ( no profit ) equally ( only fair ) so I get 1 for myself same price as everyone else.

why the mystery,, i don't want spanners in the works been looking for 1 for over a year and someone else with deeper pockets swooping in and profiting from them

If I win I will post the invoice for all too see and in the VERY small chance I win I will simply divide the the invoice / units = cost

its basically a small x86 thin client that will run dos / windows with Radeon graphics so early dx7 games will be ok,

this is a kind of a Poll to see how many of you would pay for a thin client type pc that runs dx7 win9x + dos. some sites say no dos sound but a YouTube clip shows full dos support inc sounds & FM, games like decent / doom / duke3d / dark forces / monkey island etc with very good compatibility and games like gl quake / half life / shadow of the empire.

Dont want to discuss pricing so any advice via PM would be cool.

Monkey Island? Do you remember that Monkey Island had 256 Colours on pc(I dunno which pc versions as maybe 486 pc as dunno as i guess some people on here will know :) ) screen compare to Amiga 32 Colours?

yes monkey island was various colour depths depending on you graphics card, i was late to the pc so my 1st pc was a 486 with svga grahics so all my games where 256 colours or more.

monkey was i believe in mcga ega and vga all gave different colour options.

did you know that someone hacked the pc dos versions of monkey 1 and 2 so that they run on real hardware to include the talkie speech from the later windows only special editions that the original cast returned from monkey 3 /4 to voice the 1st 2 games .. fantastic :)

That correct as I had my first pc in year 2000 from PC World and never buy from them again!
Better build own pc :)
